Here is the part of my install log info in case it is useful (it won't let me put the entire thing here). I restarted afterwards, and still got the same error 1612 when I tried to install. and running Migo's Registry Repair 5 to make sure I didn't have any random registry keys from something, even though I doubt that would be it.

I also tried deleting everything from my temp folders / cache, etc. Also, my Microsoft Office Basic 2007 shows I already have the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed. Yeah, right.ĭoes anyone know why it won't install or what can be done about it? I have never installed any pre-release versions of this or any other Microsoft program on this computer. The only hint I found was where someone had emailed this as a "bug" when they were beta-testing Expression Web 2, and it showed the Microsoft Tech had replied to his bug saying it was a known bug that would be "fixed" with the final release of Expression Web 2.

I've searched online and in the Microsoft Forum and Newsgroup and couldn't find any solutions. I am trying to install Expression Web 2, but I keep getting their 1612 error saying that it won't install. I have Microsoft Office Basic 2007 installed on my computer and also Front3.
